Book Master v1.0 is out!

After my debut in maxscripting, I wanted to write something that is closer to ArchViz in general. Going through a lot of scripts I found that there is no free scripts for creating 3d books. Therefore, I decided to write my own script for book creation.

Book Master creates highly detailed 3d books, with different types. These books are ready for use, but be careful, they need to be mapped before use. I think that this is the only major drawback of my script. But it's free, though.



There are three different rollouts. First, with fancy logo.

Second, more useful rollout is the 'Create Panel'. Here you can specify the type of book, dimensions, and create book by pressing one button.

So, let's go through 'Create Panel' a little bit more.

On top of this rollout there are two checkboxes which informs us that created book will be created as Group if thicked, or not,

or that book will be optimized in polycount, or not.

Below is groupbox called 'Book Type' with checkboxes specifying types of books.

There are four different types of books in two different kinds that Book Master creates.

First, the 'Hard Cover' books. Here you can pick what type of book you want.

Rounded, means that the book will have a rounded "head" of book cover (or whatever it is called).

Square, means that the book will have a "square" or "straight" "head" of book cover.

L-LB, means that there will be created a Loose-leaf binder (or file).

Second, the 'Soft Cover' books. Here is only one type of book, with soft cover.

Now, 'Dimensions' group.


Here you can specify length, width and height of the book. After specyfying  the dimensions of book you need to press 'Make Book' button in order to create book.

Last rollout, 'Info'. Here you can find some informations about me, e-mail address, link to my portfolio and blog and license information.

So, this is it. I hope that Book Master will be useful to you, and gives you a high quality 3d books for you 3d interior spaces and more.
